The communications committee promotes the timely and effective collection and dissemination of information to FAR's constituents. It will explore how technology can enhance communications, manage the implementation and revision of communications efforts (as needed in support of FAR's strategic goals), and manage the maintenance of reliable, up-to-date, and cost effective communications services for FAR members.

The membership committee promotes the benefits of membership to prospective members and encourages current members to fully participate in their organization. Among its activities are the Member-Get-A-Member Campaign, direct contact with other prospective professionals and distribution of the membership brochure.

This committee is responsible for acquiring sponsors and door-prize donations, and helping with decorations for the annual Holiday Party. Committee members play a major role in the creative effort behind this festive event full of holiday cheer.
